Wreath Inspiration

On my Etsy Shop page, I talk about how I spent a most of my childhood camping, chasing butterflies, climbing trees, hiking, picking flowers, finding fossils, and making nature journals by hand. Almost always outdoors, I developed an early love of animals and nature.

To this day, you can find me exploring the garden barefooted, sitting on the front porch or back by the pond, and taking nature walks. Although I no longer climb trees, I love the outdoors and find myself drawn to nature.

Much of my wreath inspiration comes from what I am drawn to outside. Be it butterflies, different flowers, tree bark and bird nests, I like to incorporate nature into my wreaths.

What inspires you?

My suggestion when making your craft is to find your inspiration, especially if you are a new crafter. Think about what draws you in and makes you smile. Do you like nature like me? Are you drawn to structures, architecture and lines? What textures appeal to you most? When you draw from something you enjoy, it will shine in your work.

Here’s a look at some inspiration from my garden. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!
